You can't spell ghetto
P6 closed earlier than usual Friday night after a fight erupted about six feet in front of me. Many faces were bloodied as a result of the melee, but the important thing was that I didn't spill my drink nor break the glass. That was because I still needed to finish it. I got back to a couch on which I could crash at about 1:30am, and woke up about three hours later to get a ride from Calabasas to Venice.

I witnessed hundreds of people in Venice preparing for the upcoming LA marathon. Being one who keeps engineering hours, I never expected to see that many people up and literally running at such an unholy hour of the morning. Liz was able to give me a ride from Venice to El Segundo for the LotREE viewing party.

The Lord of the Rings Extended Edition viewing party took almost 12 hours, though I will admit that I had to take a nap at the beginning of The Two Towers to compensate for my lack of sleep the night before. In the end, it was nice to see if the movie still "spoke" to me in the same manner that it did after my accident (verdict: it still does).

There exists a version
of myself that chose wisely, that saved the day, that won, that got it right. I am his approximation. I've rounded down.
