Maybe she's keeping it real
The people who work in a clerical manner (I'll say it: the stupid receptionists) at the Drunk Driver Program in Thousand Oaks know nothing. In the end, this will only affect when I finally get my restricted license. Of course, since I have been without a car since last June, a one week delay isn't going to break my heart.

It's been raining nonstop here in the "Southland". I never liked that term for Southern California. Whatever. It's been raining nonstop here. And because I've had terrible experiences riding in the rain, I'm taking the bus instead. At least it gives me time to read. Hey, in this weather, I'll take whatever victories I can.

There exists a version
of myself that chose wisely, that saved the day, that won, that got it right. I am his approximation. I've rounded down.
