Okay, as I put a moratorium on my Amazon.com purchases (so that, for holiday shopping purposes, people may safely peruse my wishlist), I wanted to let you know about the CDs I've picked up that I'm listening to at the moment.
Guster's
Lost and Gone Forever and
Keep It Together have joined the queue, at the recommendation of a coworker. I can't say enough great things about them, so let me pass the recommendations along.
Cake's
Pressure Chief is also there, and they've returned to the funny and catchy tunes of my favorite album of theirs,
Prolonging the Magic.
Janet Jackson's
Velvet Rope, which comes right on the heels of her coming-of-age album
janet. That's the one where the only thing she's wearing on the cover are someone else's hands. I like
Velvet Rope better because it shows her to be much more comfortable in her sexiness.
Pickin' On U2, which I mentioned in the comments.
And most embarassingly,
Yanni's
Live at the Acropolis. Shut up. All of you.
