For those of you wondering about my new commute
Here's a small map that pretty much highlights part of my route. The work furlough facility is down on the left near where it says Frontier High School. I'm going to go over to the Park and Ride to pick a bus at 7am to take me to Calabasas. There's not a whole lot of options when it comes to travelling between counties like this, but fortunately, there's a $1 bus that goes from that Park and Ride lot all the way to Ixia. The only problem is that the hours. I'd be working from 7:30 to 5:30, which is a pretty full work day, but those are some funky engineer hours for Ixia. I mean, most of my other co-workers don't arrive until 10am, and I know that a lot of times, I only really begin hitting my stride around 3pm.

Ultimately, this will prove to be a less complicated alternative to having a driver. I was informed by the probation officer that I could have a bike, but I'm not sure if they'll allow the bike/bus combo.

There exists a version
of myself that chose wisely, that saved the day, that won, that got it right. I am his approximation. I've rounded down.
