'Cause if you leave on the last line
Don't leave on the ground kind.

Crystal Method, "Born Too Slow"

Days Twenty-Three and Twenty-Four
Took some time off in the middle of the workday to run errands.

One of the advantages of not being on a timeclock is that if I need to leave to handle administrative duties regarding my incarceration, then I can do that. It's nice to be able to just sneak out to Starbucks and fill out the necessary paperwork. Ray and I drove out to Camarillo to drop off the paperwork, and the whole facility looks like a bad Department of Defense facility.

But that was my last week at work. Being mired in work has made time fly by really fast, so I'm hoping the same thing occurs over the next few months.

I'm currently watching Thousand Oaks kick North Carolina's ass in the Little League World Series. I think I just find enjoyment out of it because I get to hear the announcers say "Thousand Oaks" a bunch of times.

There exists a version
of myself that chose wisely, that saved the day, that won, that got it right. I am his approximation. I've rounded down.
