Who's gonna tell you when it's too late
Who's gonna tell you things aren't so great
You can't go on thinking nothing's wrong

The Cars, "Drive"
---
While I agree that the movie is highly propagandist, I still disagree when theaters refuse to show it. The means that someone else is making a value judgment for me. And I don't like it when anyone takes someone else's value judgments in lieu of their own.

By the way, it is still possible to support your troops and engage in a debate as to the validity of their presence. It's certainly possible to pay money to see a movie.

The meeting with the probation officer went as well as I could have planned. I knew that I would qualify for work furlough, and this is pretty much a formal step in that direction. Just a bunch of the usual questions, mostly it was like a behavioral and financial background check.

Two more weeks before my sentencing hearing. Fun, fun, fun.

There exists a version
of myself that chose wisely, that saved the day, that won, that got it right. I am his approximation. I've rounded down.
