I'm just a curbside prophet
With my hand in my pocket
And I'm waiting for my rocket to come.

Cars can be rebuilt. Collarbones will heal. Money can be re-earned. I'm just glad that things didn't end up differently, since far worse circumstances could have befallen myself and others.

A quick word in the gay marriage debate: replace the words "gay marriage" with "interracial marriage" and see how long that debate lasts. Civil liberties are civil liberties are civil liberties...

New low-profile DVI connector is in. It's a mature ATI chipset (Radeon 9200) so there exists the possibility that Linux drivers exist. In which case, I might turn Pandora into a Linux/Warez machine.

I'm currently enamored with the idea of buying a used GS300 SportDesign and having it be my project car. If I drop in a twin turbo inline-6, then I can call it the GS300beTTy.

"How's that going for you?"

"What's that?'

"Being clever?"

According to my tracking number, which you can drop into Google nowadays, the low-noise CPU cooler should arrive tomorrow. It'll be nice to finally put this project computer on its own legs.
