To riding your bike midday past the three-piece suits
To fruits
To no absolutes
To Absolut
To choice
To the Village Voice
To being an Us, for once, instead of a Them

The other song that's been stuck in my head lately is "Age of Aquarius". Yeah, I'll try to disavow that as much as possible.

Now that I'm scuba certified, it's really just providing me with further opportunity to blow more money. Great, thanks. I did have a lot of fun off the coast of Catalina with the boys from Dry Tortugas and Etherworks, and I think I dropped 5 lbs and got a tan as well.

The Super Bowl was great. Yeah, there was a lot of hubbub about Janet Jackson showing her breast, but I'm going to take the Michael Wilbon approach: it was a breast. When I was 17 or 18, I was lucky if I saw one up close. I contend that in a non-Puritanical country, this sort of controversy would not exist. There are far worse things that America could have seen. Like Kid Rock's ass. The sad part is that all parties involved will have to pay some sort of fee for violating the so-called decency laws. So watching CSI is okay but a mammary is not. Wow.

Massachusetts is paving the way for gay civil unions to be considered unconstitutional, and that same-sex marriages should be recognized equally as heterosexual marriages. I, for one, am glad that a high court finally is realizing that Separate But Equal has never worked in the history of this nation. Also, since Kerry and Dean both served as high ranking officials in New England, it should increase the differentiation among the glop of Democratic Candidates. Personally, I'm still voting Libertarian since I couldn't find any compelling reason why any of the current Democratic Candidates (or the incumbent) is worthy of my vote.

Lunch at La Pasta in Agoura. Completely forgettable. I'm also trying out BitTorrent to serve my warezing needs, but it seems insufficient to replace KazaaLite/K++ at the moment. Maybe after the technology matures a bit.

There exists a version
of myself that chose wisely, that saved the day, that won, that got it right. I am his approximation. I've rounded down.
